In SUNSCREEN TO THE RESCUE, have students imagine sunscreen as a superhero with special powers that can protect them from sunburns and other health risks. For this activity, students can use art supplies to create a detailed drawing of their superhero that shows sunscreen’s powers; alternatively, they can create a comic strip that tells a story to show how sunscreen protects people. In both cases, encourage students to have fun while also making sure that their visual representation showcases what they learned about sunscreen.
